My name is Brittany Lynn.

Ever since I can remember I've loved being in front of the camera. Weather it's making goofy faces with friends or trying to do a serious pose, I love having my photo taken. And now that I model for my best friend and photographer, Valerie Kasinski, I get to have my hair and make-up done. Which is by far my favorite part. I love seeing the out come.
I've never really considered modeling for a serious career and honestly, I still really don't. Don't get me wrong, it's flattering when people tell me "You should be a model" but, honestly, I don't think it would be the same. Sure, getting paid here and there would be quite lovely, but I don't think I would love it as much if I was doing it as a job. Not to mention I don't think I would make it as a serious model. So I have this fear to even try getting myself out there. If the opportunity to ever do modeling seriously ever occurs, well, of course I'll consider it.
For now, I just want to have fun with it.
Current Residence: Buffalo, NY
Favourite genre of music: Anything but country and rap

Here in Wonderland

Finally have a new photo but from my adventures in the woods with Valerie.
This photo shoot was really fun aside from the whole climbing a tree in a dress part.
It was so peaceful and quite gorgeous. We kept referring the the woods as Narnia or Wonderland.
The setting was so close to a scene from either. It was really far back in the woods.
We've lived near these woods our whole lives but we had only stumbled upon this area a few weeks ago.
There was this gorgeous tree, it looked quite old and was right in the center. This one huge tree just standing there.
Beautiful indeed.

In a lot of the photos that are taken of me I always try to have a thought, image, or song in my head while I'm posing.
Usually one that goes along with the shoot or the type of mood I'm in. If I'm trying to convey an intense look or feel
I usually try to think of something that makes me a tad angry or a really edgy song.
Like, for example the "Favorite Fix" shoot I kept in mind all the times I saw my father drunk and how angry and upset
it made me to see him that way. Then for the softer shoots like the creek shoot we did I just tried to think of
relaxing thoughts or songs while at the same time keeping my surroundings in mind.
